Happy Days

I loved the colour this month at White with 1!! What a gorgeous blue to play with!! I found myself reminiscing whilst doing this page coming across this photo of my son when he was just 15 months old, and now just turned 13 how time flys!

On this page you will see some Words or Whatever goodies, the stars are a border strip I had chopped up to suit my layout and the title "Happy days" can all be found at WOW stockists.

The title happy days had me humming the tune then inspired me to use a verse from the song, "Goodbye grey sky, Hello Blue, There's nothing can hold me when I hold you"

Wanderlust Kraft+

My first day of holidays for the year, no more work for 3 weeks, that means lots of creative time for me! First project was for this months Kraft+ Challenge over at Kraft+ Wanderlust, what a great challenge, i loved this one and i had the perfect picture waiting to be scrapped taken as sun set whilst flying out off Sydney headded to Canada. What an amazing trip that was!

I have used some WOW chippies on this page and left them natural colour to blen in with the page,

Funky Flair October Challenge

This month over on Funky Flairs Facebook page the Challenge for October is ....

 A beautifull flair from Funky Flairs and glass beads for texture...

 And for lace i used a piece of lace as a mask and dry brushed white paint through it for a soft barely there textured background

Kraft+ October Challenge

Hi all, tonight im revealing my entry for the Kraft+ Challenge and what a fun one it was!
I used sand to create texture in the background, mixed with some modge podge to make it stay put,

 The the feathers and twigs with some flowers and a bright flair that makes me think of sunset

The title is Words or Whatever Chipboard alphas (WOW1385) covered in scrap paper

Scrap the girls September Challenge

My first time doing a September Challenge with Scrap the Girls and here is my take on the Sketch provided...I have put some fun water colour into the background and used Words or Whatever chipboard plus a cute little flair and flowers

Kraft+ September Challenge

Its only a few days into September and as soon as i saw this months challenge i had to play right away... i LOVED this sketch!! I have used Words or Whatever Chippy, the Mali Flourish and the LOVE wood Veneer and coated them in embossing powder for a glossy finnish.

Wow where has the month gone? Well got this finished just in time. The colour was Custard, not a colour i would normally use but im super happy with the outcome. Also on the page is some Words or Whatever chippies.

Scrapbook Memories

Volume 18 No4, Flick to the back in the Final Encore Gallery and you find my layout "Be a Princess" this was a fun page to make and got me outside of my comfort zone... normaly i avoid putting ANY of my hand writing on a page.. i do not like my writing! But i am a member off a art journal group and we had spent a month learning the art off Typography, once i practiced a bit i grew to enjoy it and was able to get realy creative... this is what lead to this page.
